Cable Huston’s attorneys work on a wide range of bankruptcy and debtor/creditor law issues in Oregon and Washington. We assist clients with collection and foreclosure cases, workouts between lenders and borrowers, and commercial litigation in the state and federal courts, including the bankruptcy court. Our attorneys represent bankruptcy trustees, secured creditors, business debtors, and unsecured creditors in all types of bankruptcy cases and deal with objections to claims, preferences, fraudulent transfers, objections to dischargeability, and confirmation hearings.
In state court litigation, we assist with the foreclosure of mortgages, security agreements in personal property or construction lien claims, and commercial litigation disputes, including issues arising from contracts for the sale of goods, collection of promissory notes, breach of contract claims, and other business disputes. We also work on the enforcement of judgments through garnishment, sheriffs’ sales, and other collection procedures. Our attorneys handle loan modifications and workouts for both lenders and borrowers.
