Professional Experience
Katherine is a member of the firm’s litigation group with a focus on civil and commercial litigation and appeals. She has a broad litigation practice assisting clients in public entity defense and commercial business disputes in all aspects of state and federal civil litigation. Katherine represents individuals, public and private companies, and governmental and quasi-governmental entities in a wide variety of matters, including complex mass torts, class actions, breach of contract, professional malpractice, and construction defects. Her appellate experience includes drafting briefs in the Oregon Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to joining Cable Huston LLP, Katherine worked for one of the top water and industrial engineering firms in the country where she assisted general counsel in regulatory and business matters. Katherine also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Shelley D. Russell where she was provided incredible opportunities to hone her legal writing and research skills and gain hands-on experience with the judicial decision-making process.
Professional Activities
Katherine is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the Multnomah Bar Association, and the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel.
Personal Interests
In her free time, Katherine enjoys taking advantage of all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. In the summer she enjoys camping and hiking all throughout Oregon and Washington. An avid traveler, Katherine has been to thirteen countries and hopes to visit more in the future.
