Professional Experience
Jon is a member of the firm’s litigation group. He joined the firm as an associate in 2023.
Prior to joining Cable Huston LLP, Jon graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School. While in law school, Jon honed his legal research and writing skills as a Lead Article Editor of the Lewis & Clark Law Review and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Jolie A. Russo, United States District Court for the District of Oregon. Jon also gained valuable courtroom experience working as a certified law student at the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office.
Shortly after law school, Jon completed a clerkship for Honorable Roger J. DeHoog. Jon began clerking at the Oregon Court of Appeals and later joined Justice DeHoog at the Oregon Supreme Court after his appointment to that court. At both courts, Jon worked on cases involving a wide variety of legal topics, including novel Oregon state law issues.
Jon serves as an At-large Representative on the Board of Directors of Oregon Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
Personal Interests
In his free time, Jon enjoys exploring Portland and the Pacific Northwest with his wife, daughter, and dog. He is an avid golfer and dedicated fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
