Professional Experience
Nita joined Cable Huston LLP’s litigation group in 2026 after working with the firm as a Summer Associate during law school in 2025.
Before joining the firm Nita worked for more than a decade at a boutique intellectual property law firm, where her responsibilities included a unique combination of paralegal work, staff supervision, law firm administration, and process management. She continued in that role full-time while she completed Lewis & Clark Law School’s part-time J.D. program.
During law school Nita also served as a summer Research Assistant to Professor Robert H. Klonoff, assisting with preparation of his Federal Multidistrict Litigation hornbook, and as a Student Success Fellow, leading study sessions for first-year law students in Professor Brian Blum’s Contracts course. In 2025 Nita was selected as the recipient of the Larry Kressel Memorial Scholarship, which is awarded annually to an outstanding student in the area of land use law.
Personal Interests
Outside of work Nita enjoys cycling, paddling, camping, gardening, cooking, reading, and word games.
