Congratulations to Cable Huston client AmeriTitle Inc. on a recent victory before the Oregon Court of Appeals in a title insurance dispute arising from a real estate transaction in Bend, Oregon. On August 26, 2014, the Oregon Court of Appeals affirmed the dismissal of significant monetary claims brought in a case captioned Tim Haveman v. AmeriTitle Inc. et al. With Cable Huston partner Jon Monson acting as lead appellate counsel, assisted by associate Nikki Swift, the Court of Appeals affirmed the dismissal of Mr. Haveman’s claims on statute of limitations grounds.
