Professional Experience
Tamara Faucette has focused her practice in the areas of energy, project finance, environmental law, and municipal law. She drafts and negotiates project agreements and works to obtain siting, environmental, and land use permits for her clients. In addition, she acts as underwriter’s counsel.
Representative Work
- Represents the City of Klamath Falls in the development and ownership of the Klamath Cogeneration Project. The City issued over $325 million of revenue and completion bonds to finance and maintain the project. The work included drafting and negotiating project agreements and helping obtain the siting, environmental, and land use permits.
- Worked with Citigroup, the purchaser of the initial bonds issued by the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation for the acquisition of a portion of the Pelton-Round Butte hydroelectric dam.
- Assists entities that own and operate municipal and other electric generation and development companies in connection with the Trojan Nuclear Plant, the Wauna Cogeneration Facility, the EWEB-PacifiCorp Wyoming Wind Project, and other hydro, thermal, wind, and geothermal projects located in various states.
- Represents Waste Management, Inc. and its subsidiaries in various financing and solid waste transactions, including loaning the proceeds of tax-exempt bonds issued pursuant to the volume cap guidelines in Washington, Oregon, and other states.
