Professional ExperienceSusan Felstiner’s practice emphasizes the litigation of business disputes. Her experience includes litigating real estate, construction, employment and environmental claims for private and municipal clients. Ms. Felstiner uses her breadth of experience to achieve the best resolution for her clients in the most cost effective manner. Ms. Felstiner serves as general counsel to businesses and assists business owners in the formation and the purchase and sale of businesses. She assists property owners and contractors in construction lien and defect claims. She also assists commercial and residential property owners and mortgage lenders in real estate disputes. Ms. Felstiner defends employers in employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, wage and hour claims, and OSHA investigations. In addition, Ms. Felstiner represents plaintiffs and defendants in environmental cost-recovery actions.
Previous ExperienceBefore entering private practice, Ms. Felstiner served as a Marion County Deputy District Attorney for over three years. As a member of the Oregon District Attorney Association Legislative Committee, she drafted legislation and provided oral testimony before the legislature.
